Refund Policy

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with SteinDB. If you are not happy with your subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
This guarantee applies to your first payment on any paid plan (Solo, Team+, or Enterprise). It does not apply to renewal charges after the first billing period.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle. If you cancel your monthly subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a monthly billing cycle, except under the 30-day money-back guarantee described above.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the entire year. If you cancel an annual subscription after the 30-day money-back guarantee period, you are eligible for a pro-rata refund of the unused months remaining in your subscription term.
The pro-rata refund is calculated as follows:
Refund = (Annual Price / 12) x (Remaining Full Months)
For example, if you paid $948 annually for the Solo plan and cancel after 4 months, you would receive a refund of ($948 / 12) x 8 = $632 for the 8 remaining months.
4. Enterprise Contracts
Enterprise plans with custom contracts are subject to the refund terms specified in the individual service agreement. If no specific refund terms are stated in the contract, the standard annual subscription refund policy applies.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can:
- Email us: Send a refund request to cmesakh@ymail.com with your account email and the reason for the refund.
- Dashboard: Navigate to your Billing settings and select "Cancel Subscription." If eligible for a refund, you will see the option during the cancellation flow.
Refund requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
6. Exceptions
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
- Accounts terminated for violation of the Terms of Service.
- Fraudulent or abusive use of the Service.
- Renewal charges after the first billing period (for monthly plans) unless required by applicable law.
7. Currency and Taxes
All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Refund amounts are calculated based on the amount actually charged, excluding any applicable taxes, which are refunded separately. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank are not refundable by SteinDB.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not apply retroactively to refund requests submitted before the update. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
